Why don’t we recommend fat-free items? A little bit of fat is necessary – especially in dairy products, to help digestion and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K). Unfortunately, many fat-free packaged foods have had excess sweeteners, salt, and other food additives added in order to produce a product that tastes like the original. Low-fat dairy is often a healthy choice, and even though it contains some fat, it is lower in unhealthy saturated fat.
Fitness: Knee Pain. Why do women have so many knee problems? It’s because of our Q-angle and is all tied to child birth. The very best thing you can do for your knees is to keep the muscles around your knees strong and in balance and watch your weight (according to the American Physical Therapy Assoc).
