Congratulations! You’re getting married. The good news is, you now have a partner in life! Along with so many other things, that means all your healthy and not so healthy habits over time, will start to rub off on each other. But, not to worry. Having a partner to work out with can hold you accountable, make workouts more enjoyable, and motivate you to push harder and further than you ever thought possible. Here are a few tips that will help you and your partner stay on track for the healthiest happily ever after possible.
Have Shared Goals
Whether it’s attending Weight Watchers together, switching off cooking healthy meals, or setting work out dates in the calendar, having shared goals gives you something to work on together. Set backs seem easier to overcome, and successes are so much sweeter with someone you love by your side.
Respect Boundaries
If your partner enjoys running solo or a pick up game of soccer with friends, don’t force your way into what’s already working for them. Spending time apart is good for your health and your marriage. If you know certain things are off limits when it comes to your work out or your marriage, respect that. Your partner will love you all the more for it.

Stress Less About Your Big Day

I was anything but healthy on my wedding day. I was worn out, stressed out, and my body showed it. I had gained over 20 pounds in just over a year.
No one prepares you for what it’s like to be a bride. Like never before, I felt that every minor disagreement, every point of difference needed to be resolved or even conquered. I felt tremendous pressure to throw an amazing party and experience some meaningful transformation toward becoming “wife”, all while holding it together enough to look smoking HOT on the big day.
I just couldn’t do it.
And so, I look back on my wedding pictures now and the stress is so visible in every shot. I was overweight, I was grimacing with fear, and I was so concerned with making everyone else happy. But, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Here are five ways to stay stress free during wedding planning:
Herbed Lentil and Vegetable Soup
Lentil soup is one of those recipes that should be in every cook's repertoire. Lentils are available in most grocery stores and are high in protein, healthy and very cheap. This vegetarian lentil soup recipe uses plenty of spices to perk up the soup. Enjoy this traditional and warming dish. You can add more vegetables to make it even healthier!
Christi has made this soup and says "it is excellent"!

"Thank you so much for bridal boot camp and pushing me when I needed it. I feel so much better about how I will look walking down the aisle then I did when I started boot camp! Thanks a million!!"
