Signing up for The Healthy Bride classes is the best decision I have ever made. Period.

I would not have been able to remain as calm and healthy as I did through the planning process were it not for The Healthy Bride "boot camp" classes as well as my personal training sessions with Christi Masi, the Healthy Bride's founder.

I lost over 20 pounds and around 13 inches, but I gained muscle, a healthy outlook and several great friends. I feel more confident than ever, and while I still have some more to lose, I have the new healthy lifestyle and outlook to get me there in the next few months.

I met my weight goals and I far surpassed any of my fitness goals I set when I began working with The Healthy Bride. I've since run two 8k races, when before I couldn't even run for 15 minutes and in my last session with Christi, I was able to do 50 pushups, the man-way. I'm planning to run a half marathon in January!

In an industry where so many people will prey on your insecurities and grab at your wallet in the process, The Healthy Bride program is a breath of fresh air. While I love everything that I did for my wedding, because everyone did an amazing job, this body and this healthy attitude and approach to life will be the most helpful for our future together. - Julie F Married September 2006

"I've never met a bride who didn't want to look stunning in her wedding photographs. On the surface you may think that the goal of these bridal fitness classes is to lose weight in time for your wedding day. While I think most women who take part in the weekly workouts do lose weight, what they gain is so much more important - a habit of health and an excellent source of stress relief when they need it most. My best friend and I took The Healthy Bride classes together in preparation for her August 2005 wedding. The first six-week session was taught by The Healthy Bride founder, Christi Masi, one of those rare people who simply exudes charisma and positive energy with every breath. Maybe it’s because she’s just so enthusiastic about everything - or maybe it’s because she says things like, “I'm going to climb Mt Rainier this weekend,” and then tells you about the experience in class the next week - you just can't help but push yourself. Whoever said enthusiasm was contagious probably spent time sweating with Christi. Nicole, who is also an amazingly motivating woman, led the second six weeks. I think her biggest asset is her ability to use her own experiences getting into shape to inspire those she is working with. Add to that her supportive and nurturing personality and it wasn't long before I decided my long term post-wedding goal would be to participate in a sprint triathlon next year".

"I chose The Healthy bride because of the philosophy behind it: being healthy for life. It focuses on the key points and is an all over workout. It gave me more confidence in knowing I could achieve the small goals that I set for myself. It’s made me feel good every day! It’s not just for my wedding, but for the rest of my life". – Jill (Wedding August 2006)

"I have really enjoyed the classes. I fit into a size 10 dress today -- instead of 14!"

"The Healthy Bride Program has taught me that I can do whatever I set my mind to and that my fitness goals are not out of reach. I saw results quickly, and in just 6 weeks I bought clothes in smaller sizes. I've been able to handle my wedding stress better in this very busy time. I feel stronger and leaner, and it has been amazing for my self-esteem. I really feel fabulous" - Laura - Married May, 2005

"It's a unique opportunity to bond with other women through the trials associated with planning a wedding. First hand, I witnessed these brides to be (as well as a few recent brides) sharing ideas, vendors and feeding off each other's determination to look and feel beautiful on their day.

Aside from the camaraderie associated with the program, as an individual who despises anything associated with lycra, sweat or physical activity, I had a lot of fun. I didn't have any of those "Oh geez, I'm going to die" moments (like I've had in any numer of aerobics and spin classes) and barely realized I was working out--until the next day when I found myself rewardingly sore.

I like Christi's idea and her program a lot. Women put so much pressure into everything surrounding their wedding, the exercise program provides them relief, 90 minutes at a time."

Jamie - January 2005 East Side Class

"The Healthy Bride Programs will always be a one of my wedding planning memories. I think that the class was a great motivating experience for me. It gave me so much energy and made me want to get in shape. I lost 2 sizes and a couple inches off my waist. I was really excited to go to my final fitting and when they had to take in my dress I was ecstatic. It was a healthy and fun way of losing weight and getting in shape. The best part though was meeting the girls. It's so fun to share your details with someone who actually cares :) All the girls made the "extreme pain" worth it. Christi knows her stuff and works you hard. She is so much fun to work with and has many creative ideas to get in shape. It's refreshing to workout outside instead of in a stuffy gym. The Healthy Bride is worth every penny."

"You truly motivated me with a great workout and your enthusiasm. It helped me focus on what I needed to be doing and the recommended heart rate monitor was a huge help. I felt and looked better than I have in years. I only wish I had started earlier!"

Sincerely, Catherine (married July 2004)
